There's a buzz in the grounds with our four beehives near Limnerslease.

As part of our ambition to contribute to and maintain the thriving eco-system right on our doorstep we've installed four bee hives near Limnerslease. The bees help pollinate a surrounding area of at least one square mile. We have also created natural environments for insects and hedgehogs across our woodland.

Gillie Muir is the Watts Gallery beekeeper. She extracts a limited amount of honey several times during the summer and each batch has a unique taste and aroma according to the flowers the bees chose to visit.
