Artist in Residence

George and Mary Watts shared a vision that art had the power to change society and should be available for everyone to experience and enjoy. They both aimed to inspire and support emerging artists and creatives during their lifetimes and believed creativity served both a strong social and soulful purpose.

Our residency programme follows this ethos by inviting artists and makers to spend time with us, responding to our exhibitions, our site, and the art and ideas of our founders.

Read on to discover more about the artists and makers at the heart of Watts Gallery - Artists’ Village.
