Limnerslease dressed for Christmas

George and Mary Watts would traditionally welcome local villagers to Limnerslease to celebrate Christmas together. Enjoy a touch of your own Victorian festivities with a visit to their home dressed with Christmas trees.

Our Christmas trees are generously donated by local business, Hans Christmas Andersen. Find locally grown, freshly cut trees at Santa Fir.

Every time you purchase with us, either in person or online, you help support our important charitable work to engage all people with art.

Christmas market

With a carefully curated selection of makers and artists, you wont struggle to find a special gift for someone this 7 and 8 December.

Browse bespoke homeware, books, jewellery and Christmas decorations for gifts that are a little different this year. Open daily, 10am - 5pm.

Give the gift of art

This Christmas, give a gift that lasts all year. Treat a loved one to membership and let them enjoy art for twelve months, as well as many other benefits.

Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers can be used for purchasing tickets, events and membership online or in person. You can also redeem your voucher in the Tea Shop and Shop (excluding the online shop).

Christmas food

Cosy up in the Tea Shop with some festive fayre. Treats over the season will include mince pies and Christmas cookies. Available from 16 November onwards.

Group visits at Christmas

Christmas is always a special time of year at Watts Gallery and the perfect place to bring your group. Step into the festively decorated Limnerslease house, see a magical tree in the Chapel and enjoy festive treats together.

How to get here

Watts Gallery - Artists' Village is located in the village of Compton near Guildford, Surrey. There are various ways to get here including by bus, train or car.
