Create a beautiful and sustainable winter wreath for your home using an array of natural materials found across the Watts Gallery estate. Led by our Verey Head Gardener and renowned florist Chris Sharples, explore traditional methods of making a wreath base and decorate it with foliage, berries and ribbon.

About the artist

Chris's journey began in a quaint Derbyshire village and took a turn to the bustling spotlight of Knightsbridge in 1990 for a Christmas job at Harrods' flower department, Chris has curated a remarkable 35-year career. His expertise spans prestigious luxury flower establishments, including Liberty Flower Shop and Pulbrook and Goulds. Along the way, he's crafted floral masterpieces for distinguished clients like the Queen and Rod Stewart.

When helping people create their own floral arrangements, Chris's ethos is to encourage individuality and experimentation. Chris strives to empower others to embrace their unique tastes and enjoy the floral design process.
