We are looking for a Collections Curator to work with staff across the organisation on the Strategic Programming Committee, lead the development and delivery of collections-based displays and interpretation, engaging the widest range of audiences with the art and ideas of GF and Mary Watts.
You will work in tandem with the Exhibitions Curator to embed the art of GF and Mary Watts in our exhibitions and wider creative programmes and support practicing artists responding to the collection with knowledge and access to the collections and archival material.
You will also act as the organisational lead for Museum Accreditation and oversee our loans programme, ensuring we are able to lend works from the collection as widely and cost effectively as possible in the UK and overseas.
This role involves line managing the full-time Collections Officer to play a central part in enhancing the care and documentation of our collections, library, and archive.
