What do you like about working for Watts Gallery?

I love being surrounded by our beautiful grounds. They change so much throughout the year and there is always something new to see!

What's the best part of your job and why?

Our volunteers, we have an amazing team of people who volunteer their time to steward in the galleries, give tours, help maintain our gardens and support workshops and events. They have such interesting backgrounds and knowledge of the site so it’s always great to talk to them.

What does being a Watts employee mean to you?

It means being part of a community, the Artists’ Village community, Compton, Down Lane, our volunteers. All of these communities interlink and being a Watts employee means being part of them. As part of that it’s about making sure I am supporting our Art for all by all ethos, in my role that means making sure anyone coming to the site or interacting with us has the best experience possible.
