Watts Gallery

Built to display the work of Victorian artist George Frederic Watts, Watts Gallery first opened in 1904.

Here you can see George's artwork. From his early years to celebrated portraits, symbolic paintings and larger-than-life sculptures in the Sculpture Gallery.

You can also visit the De Morgan Foundation's Decoration or Devotion? The exhibition features works by artists Evelyn and William De Morgan.

Opening times

Includes Historic Galleries, De Morgan Exhibition, Temporary Exhibition and Sculpture Gallery

Open daily, 10.30am - 5pm, including bank holidays. Last admission is 4.30pm.
Closed 24 - 26 December and 1 January. Closing at 4pm on 31 December.

Please note that the Historic Galleries will be closing at 4pm on Tuesday 28 January 2025 for a private event.

Please note that the Temporary Exhibition will be closed until 11.45am on Monday 3 March 2025.
